"Public E-Service Reaches 2 Million Users"

    As of April 24, 2025, E-Mongolia, the unified platform for public e-services, has reached a total of 2 million users, covering approximately 88% of Mongolia's adult population. The system currently delivers 1,264 types of services from 88 government organizations in a digital format, ensuring fast and accessible public services for citizens. Over 79 million digital service transactions have been successfully completed through the E-Mongolia system, it shows the real results of e-governance development, clearly demonstrating that public services have become fully integrated into citizens’ daily lives.

    The E-Mongolia system has ushered in a new era of public services, becoming a citizen-centered digital solution that has successfully integrated accessible, transparent, and fast government services into the daily lives of citizens. This is its greatest achievement. We would like to express our gratitude to the citizens, legal entities, and partner organizations who have made valuable contributions and provided support in reaching the milestone of 2 million e-government service users.

    Send your request to obtain feedback from the police department regarding the installation of video surveillance equipment through the E-Mongolia or E-Business systems

      One of the key and effective initiatives in preventing crime is the implementation of video surveillance equipment — a unified CCTV system. Since 2023, it has become possible to submit requests for police feedback regarding the installation of video surveillance equipment through the E-Mongolia and E-Business systems.
      - 6,383 requests via the E-Mongolia system
      - 1,708 requests via the E-Business system and a total of 8,091 requests were successfully processed.
      The service is used by both citizens and enterprises, and available through the E-Mongolia and E-Business systems. 

      It is now possible to obtain 7 types of child-related inquiries and references through the E-Mongolia system

        Previously, parents had to obtain the following types of inquiries and references issued under their child’s name in person, but now it is available to access them online through the E-Mongolia system.
        Types of references and certificates available under the child's name:
        - Reference for the National Foreign Passport registration (not registered)
        - Reference for the National Foreign Passport registration (first-time issuance)
        - Reference for the National Foreign Passport registration (reissued)
        - Reference on civil criminal records (in English)
        - Reference on civil criminal records
        - Reference on civil criminal records (in past)
        - Reference for a record of a citizen’s border crossing (recent)

        World Bank Representative held a joint meeting with the “E-Mongolia Academy” and was introduced to its operations

          /April 24, 2025/, Representative of the World Bank visited the “E-Mongolia Academy” to review its operations and held a joint meeting with the executives.

          During the meeting, participants engaged in meaningful discussions on the current state of Mongolia’s digital identity ecosystem, the E-Mongolia integrated e-government platform, ongoing system enhancements, progress made to date, strategic directions, and relevant international best practices. A key focus of the dialogue was the potential introduction of Decentralized Digital Identity (DDID) solutions, including an assessment of their benefits and associated challenges.

          This meeting marks a significant step toward shaping a robust digital identity ecosystem in Mongolia, aligned with international standards and future-forward solutions.

          Reordering a passport has become easier

            Mongolia issues three types of passports: ordinary, official, and diplomatic. Currently, the E-Mongolia system has digitized the service for reordering ordinary passports.

            When to Apply for a New Passport:

            • If the passport is no longer usable or has been lost.
            • If the passport has expired.
            • If the passport pages are full.
            • If there is a change in the citizen's personal information or appearance.

            Note: If you are applying for a passport for the first time or for your child, you can visit the one-stop service center in your district in person to place the order.
