During the cold season, outbreaks of influenza and respiratory illnesses tend to increase, leading to greater pressure on hospitals and various health complications. One example is measles and rubella. According to information provided by the Ministry of Health, the number of newly confirmed cases continues to rise every day.
As of January 27, 2026, the number of laboratory-confirmed measles cases had reached 13,989. Of these:
- Ulaanbaatar City - 11,455 cases
- Rural areas - 2,529 cases
- Imported cases - 5 cases
In addition, 56 people are currently receiving treatment in hospitals, including 28 in Ulaanbaatar and 28 in rural areas, while 4 people are under home observation.
In response to the situation, additional immunization against measles and rubella is being carried out.
If your child is between 10 and 15 years old, meaning born between January 1, 2011, and December 31, 2016, it is strongly recommended that they participate in the additional immunization program. This is because infection rates among children in this age group are increasing, and the risk of severe illness and life-threatening complications is high.
Vaccination Period:
January 26, 2026 – February 6, 2026.
Parents and guardians of children aged 0–18 can check whether their child’s vaccinations have been completed through the E-Mongolia system. Instructions for Checking Vaccination Information:

- Check your child’s vaccination records and download them in PDF format
Note: Vaccination records from 2018 onward are available in the system.
Protect your children from infectious diseases.
Please actively participate in the additional immunization campaign.
