Requests to close infringing websites are now accepted through the E-Mongolia system

In today's digital age, our lives are closely connected to the internet, and it is used across various sectors such as communication, commerce, banking, and healthcare. As we navigate the digital world, the data we share becomes more vulnerable to cyberattacks and breaches, making it essential for citizens to be informed about how to protect their personal data.
Between 2012 and 2025, a total of 6,036 domain addresses related to online gambling were restricted from access in Mongolia, based on the conclusions and decisions of the relevant authorities.
The “E-Mongolia Academy” has digitalized the process of submitting requests to close infringing websites in cooperation with the Cybercrime division of the Criminal Police Service of the National Police Agency (NPA) and Communications Regulatory Comission of Mongolia, as part of its efforts to support digital transformation, reduce the workload of police agencies, and provide citizens with more convenient and efficient services, aiming to prevent crimes.
This service receives information about infringing websites submitted by citizens and it will be closed if the website deemed to be contradictory. Citizens can choose from the following categories, fill the infringing website link with evidence and explanations, and submit the request.
Specifically:
- Online gambling
- Cyber fraud
- Spreading false information
- Promoting terrorism
- Promoting pornography
- Fake Facebook accounts
To submit a request to close an infringing website, log in to the E-Mongolia system with your registered email address, go to the search section, select the 'Request to Close an Infringing Website' service, choose from the field types that appear, and attach the necessary evidence to submit your request."
