The E-Business system has been digitizing all steps for business owners, from the creation of a legal entity to its liquidation, allowing users to easily access a variety of permits and renewal services in one place. “E-Mongolia Academy” a state owned enterprise, in collaboration with relevant organizations, is now rapidly rolling out the most requested services to help entrepreneurs save time and incrase accessibility.
One such service, in partnership with the General Authority for State Registration, allows the extension of the legal entity name verification period electronically.
According to Article 13.4 of the Law on State Registration of Legal Entities, applicants must submit a registration request for a new or newly created legal entity to the state registration authority within 30 days after the name has been confirmed.
If the request is submitted before the deadline, the name verification period can be extended by 60 days in accordance with section 4.6 of the “Legal Entity Name Verification Procedure”. Once the service is selected, a list of the assigned names for the entity will be displayed. Only one name can be requested at a time, so once the application is submitted and payment is made, the extension will be applied immediately.
To use this service, log in to the E-Business system and choose the service “Extend Legal Entity Name Verification Period” from the “Services” menu. A list of certified registered entities will appear. Select the name extension you wish to extend and click the “Continue” button.
Complete the /Contact information/ field, and pay the service fees to successfully renew the name verification period you created.
