Within the framework of "Vision-2050" - Mongolia's long-term development policy document and "New Revival Policy" which is implemented by the Government, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications has developed "E-Aimag" policy recommendations which are standard document for smart provinces, sums and cities.
In order to promote the policy documents in provinces and provide policy support for their implementation, Working group was established by order of Minister of Digital development and communications A/66 of July 18, 2023, and relevant measures have been started to take.
The working group headed by Myagmarnaran Bavuujav, Director General of "E-Mongolia Academy" worked in Khentii province on August 14. He presented to the package of e-development laws, the policies and activities implemented by the Ministry of Digital development and communications, as well as the recommendations of the "E-Province" policy to more than 60 employees of 10 government organizations.
Also, as part of the "E-Province" policy recommendations, Bilguun Otgonbaatar, trainer of the Digital literacy Department of "E-Mongolia Academy" organized the training to improve the e-skills of government employees of the province.
The training was held on topics of "Common system of official document exchange", "Digital signature and its use", "Useful websites for government employees", "Basic concepts of information security", and "Common procedures for ensuring cyber security". In addition, he answered the questions of the employees and exchanged information.
The "E-Province" policy recommendation aims to properly plan and manage the digitization process in provinces, efficiently organize and intensify the implementation, provide answers to common questions faced by provinces in the process of e-transition, and create a unified approach and methodology for the development of citizen-centered governance.
