Three years have passed since the E-Business platform, developed by the E-Mongolia Academy under the initiative of the Government of Mongolia, was officially launched on April 6, 2023. Today, the unified E-Business platform for entrepreneurs celebrates its third anniversary.
The E-Business platform has digitalized every stage of the business lifecycle from establishing a legal entity to its dissolution while also enabling users to apply for and renew all types of permits through a single integrated platform. Currently, the platform has 192,790 registered users, and 953 government services from 68 organizations have been digitalized.
Among the most frequently used services by entrepreneurs are:
- Legal entity name verification - 177,435 uses
- Certificate confirming no outstanding court-ordered payments - 43,561 uses
- Viewing diagnostic and technical inspection information - 33,784 uses. These figures demonstrate the growing demand for digital government services among entrepreneurs.
In addition, citizens establishing new businesses can now complete processes such as obtaining a legal entity name, registering with the state registration authority, registering asset lists, obtaining digital certificates, and submitting seal control forms entirely online.
According to research, an average of 1,540 new legal entities are established every month in Mongolia. Of these, 72.8 percent are registered in Ulaanbaatar, while 27.2 percent are registered in rural areas. This indicates a growing need for equal digital access to government business services regardless of location.
Previously, services on the E-Business platform were only available through the web portal. However, beginning January 30, 2026, a more accessible mobile version was officially launched.
As a result, open information and data related to legal entities have become more transparent. Users can now search for legal entities by registration number, company name, special licenses, intellectual property ownership, and participation in government procurement tenders.
The mobile version also allows entrepreneurs to access services anytime and anywhere through their smartphones, helping them manage business operations more flexibly and efficiently. This is expected to reduce bureaucracy in public services, save time and operational costs for entrepreneurs, attract investors, and expand opportunities for doing business from rural areas.
Now in its third year, the E-Business platform continues to provide digital government services for entrepreneurs and consistently introduce digital transformation into daily business operations. Looking ahead, preparations are underway to launch the more accessible and user-friendly E-Business 2.0 version.
