There is no longer a need to wait in long queues or visit government offices to apply for a driver’s license. In today’s fast-evolving digital era, you can conveniently order your driver’s license through the E-Mongolia system, all you need is a mobile phone and an internet connection.
Services available through the E-Mongolia System:
- Applying for a New Driver’s License:
- Citizens who have passed the official driving test can order their driver's license through the E-Mongolia system.
- To do so, they must first submit required documents such as the evaluation sheet and photo to their driving school in advance.
- Once the information has been verified and the status is marked as “Confirmed,” users can proceed with their online application.
- Reissue, renewal, or Replacement:
- If your driver’s license has been lost, expired, or needs to be replaced, you can apply directly through the E-Mongolia platform.
- Correction and reprint due to incorrect information:
- If your driver's license contains incorrect personal details (e.g., surname, first name, national ID number, or blood type), you can correct the relevant fields during the reapplication process and order an updated license.
How long does it take to receive?
- After submitting your driver’s license order online, your license will be printed within 3–5 business days.
- Then it will be delivered to One-Stop Service Centers in Ulaanbaatar via “Mongol Post”.
- You can receive your license within 5–10 days.
Online application:
- Log in to the E-Mongolia system with your registered account, go to the "Services" section and select "Order Driver’s License".
- Carefully fill in all required fields and confirm your order.
In-person application:
- Visit any branch of the Ulaanbaatar One-Stop Service Center with the necessary documents and apply in person.
Important notes:
- If your personal information (such as name, national ID number, or blood type) does not match official records, you cannot apply online. In such cases, you must visit the Registration and Control Center of the General Police Department in person.
- Individuals who are currently under police investigation, or whose driving privileges are suspended or revoked, are not eligible to apply.
