Public kindergarten registration began on August 1, 2024, through the unified public service system, E-Mongolia. Since the start of registrations, as of August 4, a total of 68929 children have enrolled in kindergartens in the capital. Of these, 19056 are 5 years old, 18355 are 4 years old, 17014 are 3 years old, and 14500 are 2 years old.
During the 2023-2024 school year, 1410 kindergartens operated across the country, enrolling over 274000 children. For the 2024-2025 school year, the capital has 142150 children of kindergarten age, with 30894 being 2 years old.
Kindergarten enrollment is open to children born between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2022, who are registered as residents. Citizens with a local address must register in the district or khoroo where they reside and transfer their state registration address before the start of the enrollment period in order to submit the kindergarten enrollment application for their child in the capital electronically.
For those with temporary residence, to submit the online enrollment application, it is necessary to register with the district or khoroo and transfer the state registration address before the enrollment period begins. The first phase of registration will end on August 18, so it is crucial to complete civil registration address for migration before August 12, 2024.
