Ts. Egshiglen has been recognized as the 2 millionth user of the E-Mongolia system

Tsogtbayar Egshiglen, age 17, has been recognized as the 2 millionth user of the E-Mongolia system. She is a 12th-grade student at “Naran” General Education School and is currently preparing for university entrance exams with the goal of pursuing higher education abroad. On April 12, 2025, she downloaded the E-Mongolia app on her mobile phone, created a new account, and her first service request was for a reference on civil criminal record.

You can access 11 types of land-related services through the E-Mongolia system

The Government of Mongolia has discussed and approved the “Total area, location, and purpose of land to be allocated for ownership to citizens of Mongolia.” According to the decision, a total of 926.38 hectares of land will be granted to 8,348 citizens for ownership in 2025. As a result, citizens now could acquire land ownership in the provinces, capital city, soums, and districts specified in the approved locations.

Citizens can access 11 types of services provided by the General Authority for Land Administration geodesy and cartography through the E-Mongolia system.

The “Girls in ICT 2025” event was successfully organized

Mongolia is organizing “Girls in ICT” for the ninth consecutive year, promoting the participation of girls in the field of Information and Communication Technology. Since 2011, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has observed this day every April to inspire and empower young women to explore opportunities in ICT.

The event “Girls in ICT” was successfully held today (2025.04.30). The event was organized in collaboration with UNICEF, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications, the E-Mongolia Academy, the Communications Regulatory Commission, and the Mongolian Children's Council. More than 150 high school girls from general education schools participated in the event.

Obtain the reference on criminal record via E-Mongolia system

Before 2020, citizens had to access the “Reference on Civil Criminal Records” in person, which took an average of 180 minutes. Now, through the E-Mongolia system, this certificate can be obtained digitally in just 10 seconds from anywhere, saving citizens time and expenses.

In many cases, such as applying for a job, studying abroad, or preparing official documents, citizens are required to provide a reference on criminal records.

Receive 14 types of firearm-related services online

As of 2024, a total of 50,703 firearms were officially registered nationwide in Mongolia, according to available data.

Previously, to access services related to purchasing firearms, citizens were required to prepare and submit a variety of documents to the police department in person. Including: request/application, reference of residential address, a copy of the national ID card , a passport-sized photo, a payment receipt for the fee required by the General Police Department, and other similar documents.

However, citizens and business entities can now access a total of 14 firearm-related services by online through the E-Mongolia and E-Business systems. These services are available in either direct or two-step formats, depending on the type of service.

This week, the Training Division of the Training and Public Relations Department at the “E-Mongolia Academy” organized a series of training sessions aimed at the public and senior citizens. Participants included 44 senior citizens from the Lifelong Learning Center of Khan-Uul District and the “Suun Erchis” NGO, as well as 86 individuals and business entities operating in the alcohol service sector in Bayangol District. The training focused on how to use the E-Mongolia system and covered other practical, hands-on topics relevant to their needs.
