Meeting with Seungwan Che, General Director of KOTRA Ulaanbaatar, South Korea

Public services will be made more accessible and convenient for Mongolian citizens residing abroad

According to a study jointly conducted by the National Statistics Office and the United Nations Migration Agency, approximately 187,000 Mongolian citizens were living abroad as of 2024. For these citizens, there is a significant need to access public services digitally. However, many of them are still not registered in the E-Mongolia system, which limits their ability to access essential public services.
On April 18, 2025, the “E-Mongolia Academy” and “Onlime Network” LLC signed a cooperation agreement aimed at improving access to public services for Mongolian citizens residing abroad. The goal is to address the difficulty many citizens face in accessing public services due to not having a domestic phone number. By utilizing the LIME application online phone number, this partnership seeks to make the integrated public service platform (E-Mongolia) more accessible and user-friendly for those living overseas. The agreement was signed by B. Myagmarnaran, Director of the “E-Mongolia Academy”, and G. Tulga, Director of “Onlime Network” LLC.
It was also emphasized that, moving forward, efforts will not only focus on improving accessibility for Mongolian citizens living abroad, but also on gradually implementing initiatives to provide citizens with relevant information and guidance before they travel overseas.

Thank you for your attention!
