Get the citizen’s border crossing certificate more easily from the E-Mongolia system

Since 2021, the "E-Mongolia Academy" in cooperation with General Authority for Border Protection, has been working to transition the citizen border crossing certificate to the digital format, making public services more accessible and convenient for citizens.
The border crossing certificate is required in the following situations:
To complete visa application materials;
For health, social insurance, taxes, banking and financial organizations, Saving & Credit Cooperatives, housing corporations, housing, and National Security Authority offices;
For divorce cases;
For military enlistment-related documents to be submitted to Military Headquarters in the capital, provinces, or districts.
Previously, citizens had to log into the system, submit a request, and wait for a response within a certain time frame, but now it is possible to get service directly through the E-Mongolia system, without any delay.
Instructions for Obtaining the Reference:
- Visit the website www.e-mongolia.mn
- Select the "Services" menu
- Choose the service "Citizen Border Crossing Certificate"

Currently, if you retrieve the "Citizen Border Crossing Certificate" via the mobile app, you will see the most recent border crossing information of the citizen. Certificates with a specified time period can be obtained by accessing the web browser.
This update allows citizens to access public services more easily, quickly, and free of charge.
