We will cooperate to improve the digital competencies of public service employees

To enhance the accessibility and convenience of public services, improve the digital skills of public service employees, jointly organize short-term training programs, and expand cooperation, a meeting was held with the National Academy of Governance on February 11, 2025, to exchange proposals. The discussions focused on accelerating the implementation of Mongolia’s long-term development policy, “Vision 2050,” achieving the goal of a “Digital Nation,” supporting the digital transformation of government, digitalizing government services and operations, developing training programs to strengthen the capacity of public servants, and jointly organizing short-term training sessions. A plan for collaborative initiatives in 2025 was formulated based on these objectives.

The meeting was attended by B. Myagmarnaran, Director of the “E-Mongol Academy” state owned enterprise; B. Turbat, Director of the Training and Public Relations Department; V. Lut-Ochir, Head of the Training Department; D. Surenchimeg, Director of the Management Academy, Executive Agency of the Government of Mongolia Ts. Enkhmandakh, Director of the Department; and other relevant representatives.

The parties highlighted the necessity of improving the digital competencies of public service employees, developing evaluation tools and methodologies for assessing digital skills, and incorporating essential services into the unified public service system.

The “E-Mongol Academy” state owned enterprise has been actively organizing a series of meetings in 2025 aimed at strengthening collaboration with international organizations, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations. This initiative is focused on increasing the accessibility and efficiency of public services for citizens.
