Mongolia and Uzbekistan to Collaborate in the Field of E-Governance

Almaty, Kazakhstan – On February 1, 2025, during the Digital Almaty 2025 forum, the “E-Mongolia Academy” state owned enterprise and the UZINFOCOM Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, responsible for digitizing government services formalized their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding.

The memorandum outlines the intent to foster cooperation in the areas of artificial intelligence, e-government services, cybersecurity, and the organization of joint training programs, as well as facilitating the exchange of expertise.

Following the signing ceremony, representatives from both organizations engaged in discussions regarding the trends in e-governance development and explored opportunities for mutual experience sharing. UZINFOCOM showcased Uzbekistan's advanced solutions in e-government services and cybersecurity, while the E-Mongolia Academy shared the progress and accomplishments of Mongolia’s digital ecosystem.

During the meeting, both parties reached a consensus on the importance of digital governance reforms, the integration of advanced technologies, and the implementation of collaborative projects and programs.

This memorandum signifies a pivotal step toward advancing digital development, technological innovation, and knowledge exchange between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
