E-Mongolia, the unified electronic government services system, has introduced an online service to provide information on higher education diplomas in the form of a certification for diplomas issued after 2011. Citizens who graduated before 2011 were previously required to visit the Mongolian National Institute for Education in person to submit documents and register for online certificates.
To improve accessibility, the "E-Mongolia Academy" a state-owned enterprise, and the Mongolian National Institute for Education have jointly digitized the higher education diploma re-registration service. This means that citizens who graduated before 2011 and are unable to obtain certificates online can now complete the registration process without the need for an in-person visit.
To access this service, simply log in to the E-Mongolia system with your account, enter "Higher Education Diploma Registration" in the search field, select the new diploma, fill in the required information, and submit your request.
- • If you do not see the updated diploma information with the new status, click the "Submit Registration Request" button at the bottom of the screen, enter the required information, and submit the request.
- • After submitting a service request, check the status. If the status shows "Sent," it means your request has been successfully submitted to the Mongolian National Institute for Education. If the status shows "Failure," you will need to resubmit the request.
- • Once your request is approved, the Higher Education Diploma Re-registration service will show as "Approved." When you return to the service, the requested diploma information will display with the "Approved" status, allowing you to receive your certification from the higher education institution.
- • If your request is rejected, it will be marked as "Cancelled." Based on the rejection reason, return to the service, select the relevant diploma information, make any necessary corrections, and resubmit the request.
Please note that the service is currently only available on the website at https://e-mongolia.mn/ and is not accessible via the mobile application at this time.
