As part of the “Smart Government-2” project, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communication with funding from the Word Bank, plays a crucial role in enhacing the digital skills of citizens and addressing the digital divide between the youth and elderly, a significant societal challenge that has not been adequately addressed. The opening ceremony of the “Digital Nation Ambassador” program took place on September 25, 2024.
B.Myagmarnaran, Director of the “E-Mongolia Academy” a state-owned enterprise, presented a report on the training and activities of the “E-Mongolia Academy” a state-owned enterprise, as well as its support in improving the digital skills of the elderly during the opening ceremony.
As part of the “Smart Government-2” project, the Electronic Skills Department of the “E-Mongolia Academy” a state-owned enterprise, provides professional and methodological support and is training 150 trainers. The volunteer “Digital Nation Ambassador” will visit 9 districts in Ulaanbatar and reach around 1000 senior citizens living in the villages for a three months course.
