The E-Mongolia Academy has been regularly organizing digital skills training programs aimed at improving nationwide digital literacy, with particular focus on enhancing the digital skills of senior citizens and persons with disabilities while reducing digital inequality.
Within this initiative, the organization, in cooperation with the National Information Technology Park and the National Federation of the Blind of Mongolia, organized a three-week training program beginning on March 4, 2026. The training consisted of 60 hours of combined theoretical and practical instruction.
Through the program, citizens with visual impairments gained information technology knowledge and skills, including how to use computers and smartphones, operate screen reader software, interact with digital information, process information, and share content. The training was successfully concluded with certificates awarded to 11 participating citizens.
This training, built upon cooperation between professional organizations, is highly significant in supporting the education, employment, and social participation of citizens with visual impairments while also promoting equal opportunities in the digital environment.
