In the "Ease of Doing Business Index," the "E-Mongolia" and "E-Business" systems have been evaluated as simpler and less bureaucratic compared to traditional services

The government of Mongolia has made significant progress in eliminating the concept of “bureaucracy,” which has caused difficulties for citizens and business owners for many years. This progress has become increasingly noticeable over the years. According to the 2024 results of the “Bureaucracy Index” survey conducted by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) over the past 20 years, it was concluded that “the quality and accessibility of government services have improved.”

The survey showed that the bureaucracy index for public services is 2.85 points, which is a 4.8% increase compared to the 2021 survey, a positive indicator. The majority of the business owners participating in the survey highlighted that government digital platforms, such as "E-Mongolia" and "E-Business," have made a real contribution to reducing bureaucracy.

Increasing accessibility to government digital services

The “E-Mongolia Academy” has focused on making government services more accessible, user-friendly, and closer to citizens. This week the E-Mongolia Academy organized a meeting with representatives from the General Agency for Land Administration, Geodesy, and Cartography, the Mongolian Chamber of Notaries, the Ministry of Road and Transport and its affiliated organizations, and the Media and Public Relations Department of the Legal Assistance Center to intensify training and promotion efforts regarding the digital services available through the E-Mongolia system.

The meeting covered discussions on the government’s digital transformation, the digitalization of public services, the introduction of new technologies, promoting government services to the public, and expanding future cooperation. A plan was formulated to ensure successful implementation of these initiatives.

Going forward, there will be continued efforts to expand collaboration with other government agencies and NGOs, organizing meetings in phases to improve the accessibility of government services for citizens.
