The E Mongolia system, initiated and implemented by the Government of Mongolia in 2019, was officially launched on October 1, 2020. At the beginning, it introduced 181 types of services from 23 organizations to the public. Today, E-Mongolia has become the most widely used mobile application in Mongolia and the most comprehensive national digital platform integrating the largest number of government services, continuing to develop successfully.

As of April 24, 2025, E-Mongolia, the unified platform for public e-services, has reached a total of 2 million users, covering approximately 88% of Mongolia's adult population. The system currently delivers 1,264 types of services from 88 government organizations in a digital format, ensuring fast and accessible public services for citizens. Over 79 million digital service transactions have been successfully completed through the E-Mongolia system, it shows the real results of e-governance development, clearly demonstrating that public services have become fully integrated into citizens’ daily lives. As a result of the digital transition, a total of 1.4 trillion MNT in costs has been saved by 2025, clear evidence of the economic impact and benefits of digital governance.

According to the United Nations E-Government Development Index, Mongolia ranked 46th out of 193 countries and 13th in Asia, it is a significant achievement that reflects the successful digital transition of public services and international recognition of this progress.

At a time when artificial intelligence, big data, digital citizenship, and advanced data management systems are rapidly developing globally, Mongolia has successfully transitioned to a new stage of e-governance and has successfully integrated smart technological solutions into public services, aligning with international trends.

A clear example of this transition is the unified e-government system, E-Mongolia. The system utilizes Big Data technology, based on user behavior, consumption habits, and statistical data, to deliver government services in a more efficient, user-centered, and needs-based manner.

Furthermore, the ongoing development and implementation of AI-based recommendation systems, automated responders, and advanced data analytics solutions in phases is a crucial step towards further improving e-governance.

The E-Mongolia system has ushered in a new era of public services, becoming a citizen-centered digital solution that has successfully integrated accessible, transparent, and fast government services into the daily lives of citizens. This is its greatest achievement. We would like to express our gratitude to the citizens, legal entities, and partner organizations who have made valuable contributions and provided support in reaching the milestone of 2 million e-government service users.
