As a result of the E-Mongolia project, initiated by the Government of Mongolia in 2013 and officially launched on October 2, 2020, citizens are now able to access 181 services from 23 government agencies by online. By 2025, citizens will be able to access 1,263 services from 87 organizations.
As of the end of 2024, an estimated total of 70 million services have been successfully provided, resulting in savings of 1.4 trillion MNT for citizens.
Currently, there are 1,999,267 registered users which means 87.2% of the population aged 18 and above in Mongolia are using this system.
Active users of the E-Mongolia system by age group:
– 261,235 users aged 18-24
– 463,621 users aged 25-34
– 518,281 users aged 35-44 (the most active group)
– 372,945 users aged 45-54
– 383,185 users aged 55+ registered.
These statistical numbers clearly show how the policy of digitalizing government services is affecting the lives of citizens.
