The E-Mongolia system offers electronic access to 1,263 services across 87 organizations

The teams of the “E-Mongolia academy” a state-owned enterprise, joined the three planting campaign “Green-City-Citizen participation”

On the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the first E-Mongolia service, the integrated public service system, the team of “E-Mongolia Academy” a state-owned enterprise, organized 4 creative activities. The first of these large-scale events took place on October 5, 2024, at the designated area of the National Park, joining the nation “Billion Three” movement and the autumn tree planting campaign “Green City-Citizen Participation”launched by the President of Mongolia.

Today, ¼ of the total area of Ulaanbaatar is covered by forests, and there are 5.1 square meters of green spaces per person. In Mongolia, the average air temperature has increased by 2.4 degrees over the past 80 years. Desertification and land degradation have reached 76.9 percent, the frequency of disasters has doubled in the past 20 years, and greenhouse gas emissions per person are 2.7 times higher than the global average.

Globally, 190 tons of paper are produced every minute, and produce on ton of paper, 24 trees aged between 15 to 60 years, must be cut down.

A single tree releases enough oxygen for three people to breathe each day on average. However, many are unaware that old paper decomposes, fostering the growth of harmful bacteria and emitting a toxic gas 23 times more potent than carbon dioxide, which can be detrimental to health.

Over the past four years, the E-Mongolia system has successfully provided 57 million services to 1,935,720 users, saving 114 million sheets of paper. This has contributed to preserving 11,400 trees and saving 11 million tons of clean water.

What are the benefits of planting trees?

  • • Provide shaded areas that promote outdoor activities.
  • • Alleviate symptoms of asthma and stress, while enhancing physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • • Reduce energy consumption and lower ventilation needs.
  • • Offer privacy by absorbing noise and external sounds.
  • • Purify the air by filtering out pollutants, ozone, and smog.
  • • Trees offer a range of benefits, including generating oxygen by converting carbon dioxide and other harmful gases, significantly improving our environment.

Let's plant trees and leave a living legacy for the future...
