Fir the 2024-2025, there are approximately 142150 children of preschool age in Ulaanbaatar, including 30894 two-year-old children. Registration for public kindergartens in the capital will be done for the third year through the unified public service system E-Mongolia.
This year, kindergarten registration applications will be accepted through the E-Mongolia system starting on 1 August. The registration process will be conducted in two phases, and applications can only be submitted online.
Application for preschool-aged children will be handled in two phases. The first phase will be run from August 2, 2024, to August 18, and once the first phase is completed, the second phase will be begin.
Online registration:
- • Log in to the E-Mongolia integrated government services system
- • Enter your child’s information when the “ Kindergarten Registration Application” section appears in the featured services.
- • If your child attended kindergarten the previous year. Select the name, number, and district of the kindergarten
- • If the name and number of the kindergarten do not appear, the child will be considered a “newly registered child”
- • Select the child’s registered address
- • If your child is not yet enrolled in a kindergarten, select the reason and submit the application.
- • When the message “ Your application has been received” appears, this means your child will be able to continue their studies at the choses kindergarten. You can submit application immediately.
- • For a child who is not enrolled in a registered kindergarten or is newly should “ will not migrate”. In this case, “ The registration will be done at this address” will appear then click “ Understood” button and the application will be submitted. \
- • A child who is not enrolled in a registered kindergarten or who is newly admitted wishes to be “transferred”. For “Transfer before 5:00 PM on August 18, 2024” click the “Understood” button once the information appears to submit the application.
Requirements for Parents and Guardians:
- 1. Be registered at the place of residence and should have no document violations
- 2. To submit a kindergarten enrollment application for a child, a citizen temporarily residing at an address must register in the district or area where they live and transfer the state registration address before the enrollment period.
- 3. Citizens who are unable to register in the electronic system should contact the support team of the nearest public kindergarten in their district during the enrollment period, on workdays and hours.
- 4. Fulfill the legal requirements set by the kindergarten.
