The updated military registration process is currently underway across the country from January 6 to February 15, 2025.
Mongolian citizens between the ages of 18 and 50 who are subject to military service, reservists up to the age of 65, and women with registered military specialties are required to register once a year. Specifically:
- • Senior officers (Generals): up to 65
- • Field officers: up to 60
- • Company-grade officers and warrant officers: up to 55
- • Female officers, warrant officers, soldiers, and sergeants (civilians): up to 50
Please take note of the following when submitting your military registration request:
- 1. Citizens under 18 who do not have a military service ID must visit their local district or subdistrict office in person to register.
- 2. If you have lost your military service ID or never received one, you must visit your province or district Military Headquarters to obtain a new one.
- 3. Those who have changed their address must visit the Military Headquarters in their new district or province to confirm the address change and complete their registration.
If you are unable to register online, you must visit your district’s Military Headquarters with the following documents:
Important Notes When Submitting a Registration Request:
- • Military ID;
- • National ID card;
- • If the individual cannot attend in person, a family member may complete the registration on their behalf and have it officially recorded.
If the citizen is absent, a family member can visit and complete the registration, ensuring the necessary entries are made in the official logbook. According to the Capital City’s Military Headquarters, individuals who fail to register within the designated timeframe will be subject to a fine of 100,000 MNT.
