In accordance with Resolution No.237 of the Government of Mongolia, dated June 21, 2023, the government has approved monthly allowances ranging from 275,000 to 302,500 MNT for person who takes care of citizens in need of long-term care.
Article 3.1.6 of the Social Protection Law states that “a citizen in need of constant care is person who is unable to perform daily activities independently without assistance, or who suffers from a severe intellectual or mental disorder”. A monthly cash allowance is also provided to the person who cares for the citizen in need of long-term care.
Currently, 65,900 citizens are taking care of individuals in need of long-term care (such as elderly individuals, people with disabilities, children in critical condition, elderly persons without any caregivers, or disabled citizens within their families).
This long-term care service has been digitized in cooperation with the General Agency for Labor Welfare Service.

- • Disabled citizens /quarterly allowance/
These services can now be accessed through the integrated state service system, E-Mongolia. To access these services, log in to the E-Mongolia system with your registered address and search for the service name in the search box.
With the digitalization of social welfare services, citizens can receive government provided welfare services in a timely manner, ensure transparency of information, and easily access to social welfare services without needing to provide personal citizenship information.
