In the first half of 2024, over 170,000 blood donors were registered in Mongolia, and just 350 to 400 milliliters of blood from a single person can save 3 lives.
The E-Mongolia integrated public service system, and the National Blood Transfusion Center now express their gratitude to citizens who help save precious human lives.
After successfully logging in to the E-Mongolia system with your account, you can view the appreciation message in the “Thank You” section of the help menu in the top-right corner.
By donating blood, you not only save the lives of others but also have a positive impact on your own health. For example, donating blood every three months can provide you with a complete blood test to help prevent illness and monitor your health condition.
When donating blood:
• Bring an ID card or similar documentation
• Avoid taking any medications or injections for 10 to 14 days prior to donation
• Get at least six hours of sleep the night before
• Do not consume alcohol in the three days leading to your donation
• It is mandatory to avoid milk, dairy products, fatty foods, and colored beverages for 1 to 2 days before donating.
